Artwork preparation tips

1. Delete all hidden layers and flatten your artwork to prevent issues with overlays, gradients, drop shadows, and transparencies.
2. Submit files in the correct orientation to ensure proper printing.
3. Avoid using borders whenever possible. Borders placed too close to the trim may appear slightly off-center after cutting.
4. Make sure your PDF is high resolution and that all images are converted to CMYK at 300 DPI.
5. Convert all text fonts to outlines. Do not embed fonts.
6. Do not include linked images. All images must be embedded in the artwork file.
7. If your design includes spot UV, provide it as a separate file using 100% black (K100) to identify the glossy areas.
8. The die line shape must be created as one continuous stroked path.
9. Provide vector artwork for text, logos, shapes, and other graphic elements. Embedded raster artwork should only be used for full-color images.
10. Set black text to C0, M0, Y0, K100.
11. The Illustrator artboard or trim size must match the final ordered size.
12. Add a minimum bleed of 0.125 inches on every side using the bleed settings in your page-layout or design software.
13. Submit files in CMYK color mode only. Do not use RGB.
14. Include a Dieline and/or White_Ink spot color when required by your order specifications.
